The Armory Park Historic Advisory Board (APHZAB)
APHZAB and the Tucson/Pima County historic preservation process are major players in preserving the historic character of Armory Park. APHZAB reviews projects which propose to construct or alter the exterior of any structure in the HPZ. and makes recommendations which are then considered by the City/County board and the Planning and Development Services Department director. The Tucson Mayor and Council are the final reviewers if there is an appeal.
